Due to a recent promotion this major bank has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join their Retail division in a role that partners the business through the understanding, reporting and interpretation of financial information.
This role is responsible for performance management reporting within one of the largest business units of the retail division and will require deep-dive analysis, strategic planning, commentary and reporting of information which must be used to influence and assist the decision making processes for senior stakeholder management within the business unit.
Your background is likely to include a combination of:
- Qualified CA / CPA
- The accounting toolkit and experience to assess business performance through management reporting, KPI analysis etc
- Communication skills and stakeholder management (Influencing both finance and non-finance colleagues is integral to this position)
- Solid technical accounting experience with a core understanding of what drivers affect business performance
- Practical knowledge of Financial Services, although major corporate may be considered.
