Opportunity to join an International Research Centre
The Centre of Excellence for Behaviour Support is a partnership between the Department of Communities and the University of Queensland, situated at UQ's Ipswich Campus.
The Centre’s role is to lead and participate in cutting-edge research in positive behaviour support to assist adults with an intellectual or cognitive disability who exhibit severely challenging behaviour to participate in everyday life.
As a member of this International Research Centre, the Director of Learning and Development, will lead and manage the development and delivery of state-wide learning and development activities to address workforce needs in assessment, planning and positive behaviour supports for individuals with intellectual or cognitive disability who exhibit challenging behaviours. This role will encompass building the capacity of a broad range of stakeholders.
