The key functions and responsibilities of the position include:-

• Plan and direct the processing operation to assure that production goals are met, in accordance with established budgets.
• Prepare work schedules and approves operating plans.
• Prepare and maintain production and inventory reports
• Improve, maintain and sustain optimum ore processing consistent with company objectives
• Assist in developing maintenance schedules
• Maintain Environmental and Safety compliance

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

• A degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline and membership of the AusIMM
• A minimum of 15 years experience in an operating environment, with a minimum of 5 years at senior level
• Coal experience a must
• Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate mining, processing and administration activities
• Sound business acumen with knowledge of financial and accounting practices.
