Kakadu National Park is seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to join their management team. The successful applicant will will provide leadership to the Park’s business management and administration team. Within this role you will also be developing:
- Operational savings and increasing program efficiencies including assets, contracts, and sustainable energy options, and development of asset maintenance data base.
- strategic and innovative approaches to park wide funding and resource allocation including sourcing external funding;
- Operations Plan as a basis for resource allocation, monitoring and reporting against the plan
- Indigenous business enterprises and other commercial opportunities for Traditional Owners and relevant Aboriginals in accordance with relevant leases and plans
- And assisting with training strategies for building capacity of staff at all levels through sourcing of external funding, and assistance with development of strategic partnerships

- Drive a 4WD vehicle;
- Have a reasonable level of fitness;
- Wear the uniform and other appropriate clothing;
- Hold a current drivers licence;
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate or have the ability to obtain this qualification;
- Meet requirements of the Australian Public Service Code of Conduct including:
Desirable: Holding relevant business or financial management qualification.
