We are pleased to offer this exceptional opportunity within the market for an experienced Drilling Engineer. This organization has flourished through a strategic growth plan and as a result now sees them poised in a commanding position with proven tenements scattered across northern NSW and throughout QLD.
With their head office situated in Brisband CSG, you will find yourself working closely in a technical team whilst supporting the drilling and exploration program by optimizing the drilling performance, perform appropriate calculations involving hydraulics, weights & pressure and evaluating data. This is a hands-on role that will see you interacting closely with the team of reservoir engineers and geologists to maximise the opportunities within the portfolio of assets. You will therefore demonstrate your understanding of the Well Control and drilling techniques. Coincide with the technical engineering you will also be responsible for the cost control, reviewing mud programs, and producing detailed reports of the drilling program.

What is expected from you?
- To be degree qualified in Drilling/Petroleum Engineering
- A solid background in directional drilling and drilling forecasting
- Torque and drag verifications
- Drilling optimisation techniques on conventional oil wells
- To be willing to travel to site to assist in the drilling preparation
