Drilling Engineer - Oil & Gas - East Coast operations

RecruitR is working in conjunction with an established Coal Seam Gas producer that is currently operating on the east coast of Australia. With their instinctive tenement acquisitions and strategic growth plans, this organization is currently seeking a Drilling Engineer that will play a part of this company's guaranteed success. This is a technical role that will see you reporting to the Drilling Manager whilst based in their office in Brisbane. Your core focus will be to provide engineering support to the drilling program and ongoing production activities. Additionally your duties will include: well design, casing selection, cost control, completion and workover activities. The successful drilling engineer will have a degree in either petroleum or mechanical engineering as well as a proven background in: - A solid background in Coal Seam Gas drilling - Workovers & Completions
- To be competent in all mechanical operations
- A proven background in a technical team
- Outstanding communication skills, the ability to coordinate staff/ equipment, relay information to senior management.
