This is a rare opportunity to join this blue chip and highly regarded organisation based in the CBD. Having gone through a recent restructure, this organisation is excited about the year ahead in relation to its employees and clients.
Reporting to the National Public Affairs Manager and acting as 2ic in that person’s absence you will assist with the development and management of the firm’s national media activity including proactive and reactive media. You will have strong relationships with relevant media and be able to respond to all incoming requests.
You will engage in strategic issues management across the business proactively managing potential issues within the business to protect and promote its reputation. You will be responsible for keeping abreast of the range of business activities and key issues which relate to the business and the industry. These will include providing tailored media and communication solutions and advice to help your internal clients achieve their profiling and growth objectives.

To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified and have 7+ years experience in a similar role in a corporate or communications consultancy. Importantly, you must be self-motivated, tenacious, and have well-developed presentation, oral and written communication skills that will enable you to manage internally and externally with great effect.
