The successful applicant will be working tenders specifically for Green Star healthcare developments in the range of $500m to $1.1 billion.
Key responsibilities include:
Program - Develop and Monitor the Project Program, Selection of Construction techniques to suit, Daily and Weekly productivity checks
Resource – Selection of Plant and Labour, Survey requirements, Purchasing of all materials and equipment, hired equipment
Financial - Project Forecasting, Project Cashflow, Variations, Claims, Progress Claims, Administration procedures
Subcontracts - Selection, Documentation and Administration of Subcontractors, agreement of S/C payments, effective Supervision
Reporting - Maintaining Senior Management=s knowledge of key issues, accurate and timely Weekly and Monthly Reporting
Safety - Development and implementation of Safety Plan, establishment of emergency procedures, housekeeping, site security, Accident Investigations, Reporting requirements
Quality -Development and implementation of Quality Plan, Design and Specification changes
Administration - Daily Records, Insurance matters, Tax rebates, Office procedures, Documentation control, Client correspondence
Company - Client Relations, Industrial Relations (advisory only), Public Relations
Global- Professional Image, Local Profile, Business Development
Key Requirements would be:
• Hold a degree in Engineering / Construction Management.
• Possess over 10 years experience in Project Management in the building construction industry.
• Have strong experience in the project management aspects of healthcare construction projects valued AUD300+ million.
• Have experience working with major building contractors / project management consultancies and the necessary government bodies as well as Health User Groups.
• Convey the ability to deal with a demanding schedule and lead / liaise a multi disciplinary professional team.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
