An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Dynamic and Down to Earth Financial Controller in this Leading International Construction Company.
As part of the Senior Management team, you will take ownership of providing sound financial advice and systems development in order to complement and enhance this group’s growth and development. The Financial Controller with manage a team of two staff and report to the Managing Director. This is a very hands-on role and will best suit someone from a SME environment.
With strong goals and high expectations, this is an organization that strives for perfection. A Financial Controller with an understanding and appreciate of a Six Sigma approach and previous experience working in a similar environment wil be highly regarded. With an immediate start, this role is initially on a temporary basis but has a strong possibility of leading to a permanency. Experience of multicurrency consolidations, foreign currency management and international tax will also be of strong relevance to this role.
The following Criteria is Essential:
CPA/CA/CIMA Qualification
Background in Engineering / Construction or Mining
Previous Experience at a Financial Controller level
Experience with Revenue Recognition, WIP Valuation, Project Cash Flow
Foreign Exchange and Consolidation experience
International Tax experience
Previous experience in Six Sigma Environment
*Previous studies in Engineering would be very highly regarded.
