This minerals and mining focused Engineering Firm is seeking an experienced Principle Electrical Engineer to lead their growing electrical instrumentation and controls design team. As a pivotal leader in the Brisbane design office you will direct the growth of the electrical division and assist in the continuous delivery of engineering solutions. Using the established international brand of this organisation to work with reputable clients, you will provide design and project management functions to grow company presence. Through your valuable industry network and the support of senior management you will provide valued customer solutions while building internal structure and engineering support.

Your ten plus years of Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineering experience from a consulting background and minerals sector will assist in a seamless transition into this position. Essential to your success in this role will be the possession of Electrical Engineering degree, RPEQ accreditation and Membership to the Institute of Engineers Australia. Preferably you will have experience leading teams and projects, mentoring engineers and winning new business. Substantial experience in instrumentation and controls systems design and project management is paramount for consideration for this role.
