Stategic high level sales role with a government focus available with a market leader on a permanent basis, My clients product range within the database and business intelligence and ETL tool, has provided record performance in the last 3 quarters internationally and locally.
You will join a team of high level technical professional and be responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing strategic and tactical business opportunities with state and local governments within a defined territory.
Ensuring achievement of revenue goals, managing expenses to ensure budgeted margin performance is achieved, and ensuring customer satisfaction with products and services.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Directs the activities of the Sales Representatives and System Consultants to sustain monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives by:

Increasing sales to the existing customer base

Establishing new accounts emphasizing the markets and business sectors identified as key areas for Sybase growth
-
Establishing and building relationships with Sybase partners to leverage additional sales opportunities through these channels
-
Work with support organisations to ensure full and timely revenue recognition. Provides timely and accurate management reports as requested

Monitors, coordinates, and assures a high level of customer satisfaction of the installed base within the territory

Provides leadership to staff by:

Developing a vision based on Corporate goals and communicating this vision to territory personnel

Mentoring, coaching, and training staff
-
Prioritizing and allocating internal and external resources
-
Developing staffing plans
-
Meeting expense and capital budgets to ensure profitability goals are achieved

Travels to customer, partner, and sites as necessary
Asides from your high level sales ability you will be a thought leader in the organization which will be supported by a strong management team who will enable you to grow your career within a world class - the salary base on offer is up to $130 000 with OTE of $265 000.
