This is an example of private equity investment in a traditional “cottage” industry where there is enormous scope to significantly lift profit returns and create real investor value. This particular venture is taking hold of an automotive aligned industry segment that is ripe for acquisition, organic growth, and aggregation. Following an initial series of acquisitions, there are now premises throughout Australia with immediate need for consolidation through driving consistency at all levels, system and process integration, staff motivation, productivity and customer service.

Reporting to the Board and working alongside the CFO you will be responsible for the specific daily operations of the business. This is not a desk-bound role. A hands-on approach to management, leading step change, best practice blueprint implementation and continuous improvement are imperative. Critical assessment of sites, production planning and flow analysis, combined with a broader vision and capacity to devise and execute on transformation programs for IT platforms, QC and customer and supplier relationships are pivotal aspects of this role. In addition, you will need to be passionate about improving people through the establishment of unrivalled learning and development programs.
