About the Company As Solutions Architect you will be working for a large organisation with numerous corporate benefits including income protection, training, study leave, travelling benefits, cross-skilling and salary sacrificing options. They are a results orientated organisation based in the CBD with management and staff working together towards common objectives. The organisation is dynamic and continuously seeking to improve strategies, processes, policies and procedures with a emphasis on resource development. About the Position As Solutions Architect you will be assigned specific business and technical domains of responsibility. You will be defining and documenting detailed solution architectures, establishing processes and procedures for business analysis and engaging relevant internal and external resources. Around 60 – 70 % of the work is delivered by external service providers and you are responsible for directing and managing their activities closely. You will be advising software developers, business system analysts and other relevant resources on software architectural matters. About You Included in your background: - A comprehensive knowledge of Solution Architecture development including the latest related concepts
- An IT, Computer Science or Business degree
- A post graduation qualification such as Six Sigma, ITIL, PRINCE2, Project Management or similar is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organised and analytical
- The confidence to cope with new, exciting and dynamic architectural projects
- Hands on experience with formal SDLC and application development menthodologies
- Excellent project management skills and a keen desire to lead
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
