The longest established Commercial Interior Design & Build company from the UK, is looking to expand its operations in the booming construction market in Doha, Qatar. This new set up is already a successful international organisation with an enviable track record and client list. Projects are of the highest standards of delivery for Class A, contemporary office interiors on behalf of Blue-chip International Corporations in local Qatari landmark buildings.
A key member of this new venture will be a Construction Manager who will join the initial launch team. This role offers full responsibility for the hands-on delivery of fast-track, technically challenging, interior fit-out and refurbishment contracts within the Qatar and GCC region. This is a challenging role for an experienced Project/Site Manager with a track record of delivering top quality commercial office space projects on time and on budget.
The successful candidate must:
- Be able to meet deadlines
- Have strong communication, management, organisation and negotiation skills
- Be efficient and cost effective in hands-on delivery of complex, prestigious interior projects
- Have excellent client facing skills
- A significant wealth of knowledge of the construction of International commercial office interiors (preferably including the Middle East region)
- Have a detailed understanding of construction techniques and processes
- Be able to structure large construction teams, coordinate contract packages and control delivery of projects on site
- Be financially aware and able to produce detailed accurate cash flows of all stages of the construction process
A Degree in a relevant Construction related discipline, together with Professional Memberships or Post Graduation Professional accreditations are essential. This is an amazing opportunity to join the UKs leading interior contractor on landmark projects in the Middle East.
