Network Design Engineer with excellent knowledge and skills around the product development of IP & Ethernet, MPLS⁄VPLS & QoS based architecture and access technologies around Fibre & DSL + DSLAM Products
Your main role is to provide detailed networks & systems design, network optimization & reliability, technical support & new product trials and a large focus on product development. You will also be required to be a senior within the team and be able to mentor and train you fellow colleagues. This role will see you at the forefront of Ethernet technology.
Main technical criteria:
Detailed knowledge and hands on experience of the following:
Alcatel, Cisco & Huawei Routers & Switches
Ethernet switching, IP Routing
QoS architecture
MPLS⁄VPLS & Traffic engineering frameworks
DSL, Signal to nose ration, noise margin & interference
IP DSLAM Products
The preferred candidate for this role will ideally have 8 years experience in a similar role.
