The Driver Education Centre of Australia Limited (DECA) is a premier provider of driver education and training services in Australia and the South East Asian Region.
Committed to encouraging responsible road user behaviour, DECA Training provides vocational, recreational and employment-based training.
DECA Training, as part of the TAFE system supported by the Federal and Victorian Governments, is a national organisation that has a turnover of $14-$15 million.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated leader to lead the Driver Education Centre of Australia Limited (DECA) as its next Chief Executive Officer. An innovative and entrepreneurial visionary, you will drive the next stage of growth for DECA in revenue, product and market expansion. You will also further strengthen the existing strong relationships with suppliers and clients across all markets and lead DECA to achieve its strategic goals.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will lead, motivate and develop a team of more than 100 staff located nationally and will be committed to promoting a values based culture. You will provide high level strategic advice to the Board and will play a vital role in building a prominent profile for the organisation within industry. This includes capturing new markets both nationally and internationally for driver education, consultancy and training in all vehicle types.
With the vision and experience required to lead a fast growth organisation into the future, you will be an innovative and strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will have a proven track record in financia lmanagement, driving growth, change management and people leadership, along with the ability to develop further applications for the leading edge technology that DECA utilises. Offered as a five-year contract, this role will involve some interstate and international travel. Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
