Our Client is a highly respected International Engineering Design Consultancy with a proven track record of delivering technically challenging large-scale projects across a range of industries with specialisation in Petro-Chem / Industrial Process, Civil Infrastructure and Power.
At this moment a significant leadership role is available for an appropriately qualified Electrical Engineer with substantial experience in design and verification of Safety Systems for complex large-scale Petro-Chemical / Process manufacturing plants. The position is located in their Southern Sydney, Major Projects office and is responsible for providing delivery of Electrical and Instrumentation design to a well established Client base.
This is a strategic opportunity with scope to not only provide high level design, project management and business development, but also to mentor and develop an existing and cohesive, medium to large sized delivery team.
Minimum Requirements
15+ years of experience in Process or Petro-Chem manufacturing.
Highly developed communication and liaison skills.
Experience in Safety System design and verification, CFSE or TUV certification required.
Experience in hazardous area assessment, verification and design.
Strong understanding and commitment to Health, Safety & Environment the Industrial / Process arena.
Sound knowledge of P&IDs development and associated instrument data bases.
