The incumbent will work ‘on location’ within a team of 5 – 7 other Area Accountants, responsible for a number of your own stores, you will be required to be ‘on site’ throughout the day.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements for stores and support accounts
- Preparing consolidated statements for the area
- Preparing standard management reports
- Preparing budgets and forecasts for stores and areas
- Monthly reconciliation of Client Trust Accounts
- Training of financial systems and processes so they are clearly understood and supports
- Assist with roll out and implementation of systems and process improvement initiatives
- Support Team Leaders and Consultant on financial systems, processes and procedures
- Work closely with the Area Leader as an integral member of the Area Support Team
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience (Chartered environment preferred)
- Studying or looking to study CA or CPA
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop relationships
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Proven customer focus in a previous role
- Flexibility and the ability to deal with change
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- High level of commercial acumen and professionalism
- Proven time management and organisational skills
- Ability to on-train and re-train systems, processes and financial solutions
- Ability to travel to stores on a regular basis, i.e. driving license and own car
