Experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER within the Water Treatment Industry required.  

My client provides Australian Industry and Government organisations with the world's best technology for correctly and efficiently managing their water.

This outstanding organisations customers directly benefit from extensive research and development carried out locally and globally. The goal is to implement the most effective solution, proven for the application at the lowest cost to the customer. My client aims to provide an answer to Australia's water shortage. Once implemented, systems operate at a cost that is a fraction of mains water supply. High quality on-site water recycling is often the most sustainable approach to reducing water consumption.

POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A fantastic opportunity is live now for an experienced  BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join the team. The main focus of this role will be to promote leading edge technology direct to Developers, Architects, Commercial Markets, the Building Industry and Government.

As sales keep increasing so does demand! Hence the reason for this vacancy. This BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER will be expected to increase sales by offering niche Water Treatment  Systems, recycling and solutions, you will be in charge of building up new clientle, nurturing an already healthy client base and assisting with global awareness and special systems.

As BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER you will have at your disposal you will have a variety of products and solutions to suit all kinds of water recycling needs. The same innovative technology applies to both Small scale single dwelling situations as well as larger scale systems with additional features and benefits to suit demand. All systems produce high quality water in a low energy, compact, robust and aesthetic package.

This highly autonomous role is Brisbane based however some regional and interstate travel will be required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

• Well organised, personable and a proven track record in Sales and BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
• Worked in the Water Industry for at least 5 years and have appropriate tertiary education; Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Environmental) or Science (Industrial Chemistry ideal)
• Commercial Acumen and an understanding of the business process and specifications as well as a technical aptitude
• A deal closer and very well presented
• High levels of energy and motivation

The successful candidate for this demanding and challenging BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER position can expect a base of between $80K and $100K + FMCV + COMM and a possibility of profit share.
