This Australian subsidiary of an international business has rapidly established itself as a leader in the manufacture of a range of products synonymous with luxury, sophistication and design innovation. Utilising leading edge and eco-friendly technologies their products grace some of the countries most unique and stylish residential and commercial buildings. They now require a national inventory and logistics specialist to join the team and contribute to its ongoing success.
As a key role within the strategic objectives of the business and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer you will have a proven track record of career achievement. You must demonstrate significant experience in inventory analysis and demand planning, logistics, shipping and freight forwarding with the ability to support the company’s leadership group in key areas including order fulfillment and inventory efficiency.
This is a critical role to lead sales and operational planning and procurement responsibilities and to implement relevant changes to improve customer service and reduce inventory levels. You will work intimately with senior internal stakeholders to measure and analyse performance, develop and introduce supply chain and process improvement initiatives that will ultimately improve efficiency and customer relationships.
It is vital that you have outstanding communication, influencing and advocacy skills. You must also have delivered strategic projects and have strong organisational and prioritisation capability with an eye for detail and project deliverables. Formal qualifications will be highly regarded as will exposure to the building materials, manufacturing / industrial sectors and strong IT skills are essential.
