This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Professional to join a leading supplier of equipment and consumables to the Mining, Exploration and Construction industries.
As Business Development Manager, you will head up the companys Queensland operation promoting a world class range of drilling consumables including Drilling Fluids and associated DTH Products to a wide range of clients operating in the Exploration, Water Well and Geotechnical sectors.
With a roaming brief covering the whole of the state, you will have full responsibility for all field sales activity focusing mainly on identifying new opportunities and establishing long-term relationships with some key players in the region. You will leverage off your existing relationships and reputation in the market to achieve very realistic targets and provide outstanding customer service with your comprehensive knowledge of product and its application.
In addition to your industry and product knowledge, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all customers from independent drilling contractors to corporate heavyweights. Most importantly you will be commercially savvy, able to recognise a real opportunity and negotiate the deal. Order Takers and Desk Jockeys need not apply!
