We are seeking applications from Project Managers with a transmission construction background to work on a variety of existing and future projects. This is a challenging opportunity to apply your strong leadership skills and your ability to work to project deadlines. Excellent communication skills and strong problem solving ability will be well regarded for this role.
Our client has been involved with the delivery of engineering design, procurement, project management and construction of transmission projects throughout Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines and the Middle East since the late 1950s. They have successfully delivered projects valued at as little as $2 million, and have the capability, skills and resources to deliver works valued in excess of several hundred million dollars. The size and scope of our client’s business offers endless opportunities to their team members and the successful applicant will join a truly national business operating in a variety of sectors.
The Project Manager’s role will be to manage the delivery of transmission line and/or substation construction projects consistent with commercially competitive standards for safety, cost, timeliness, quality, and scope and customer satisfaction. The PM will be required to assign individual project tasks and manage contracts to ensure full and proper delivery on time and on budget.
Requirements: To be successful you will possess a tertiary engineering and/or project management qualification, supported by extensive experience in HV transmission substation or line projects. You must have delivered transmission project valued at or over $50M.
