Our client is a major player on the world stage with established and recognised brands and well positioned in national and global markets. Continuing with the company's insight and future vision, on behalf of our client, we are currently seeking to appoint a suitably experienced champion in their field in the position of Brand Marketing Manager heading up the Brand Team.
Your demonstrated people management skills will allow you to effectively lead and motivate your team to collaborate, communicate and implement insightful and visionary ideas and will be the building blocks of your success in this position. Your tenacity and resolve will see all strategies to a successful completion. The brand portfolio, whilst well established, will require your long term strategic vision whilst ensuring the delivery of short, medium and long term brand equity, market share and profitability via the production of brand & business plans across the entire portfolio in all relevant channels.
Acute business sense and financial acumen together with a heightened understanding of all business units will make way to successful collaboration with other key departmental functions such as sales, finance and winemaking. You will also be responsible for the management and delivery of annual sales budgets for the entire portfolio in all international markets as well as the performance management and development of all direct reports.
The ideal candidate will be good humoured, team oriented and have the ability to adapt to and lead change. You will also possess a University degree in Marketing or related discipline, a minimum of five years experience in a wine marketing environment, relevant contact and experience in a sales role, demonstrated financial acumen. Previous experience in Brand Management is essential. Whilst wine industry experience is desirable applications will be considered from outstanding individuals drawing strength from other sectors.
