This company has experienced tremendous growth in its thirteen year history and now has one of Central Queensland's largest rental fleets. Operating from several locations in Northern Queensland, they have earned an outstanding reputation for service and the dependability of their range of modern equipment. Consequently, a strong, loyal client base has evolved that ensures ongoing repeat business. 

They are seeking a dynamic Manager to lead the team at their Emerald branch and take an exciting role in this expansion phase.   

Role
The overall function of the role involves business development of the branch through building strong relationships within the mining sector. 

You will provide leadership to the branch team and effective management of capital resources, as well as working closely with other Central Queensland Branches to optimise corporate business opportunities.  

Candidate
The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of the Queensland industrial sector and a thorough understanding of the typical equipment used by these companies, in particular the mining industry. Allied to this knowledge should be a successful track record of experience managing a similar type of operation. 

An affinity with the culture of this market is essential. You must be able to form quality business relationships with senior identities at major industrial companies and build on these with excellent service. You need to be a self starter, keen to achieve and who can operate with a high degree of autonomy. Good organisational skills need to be underpinned by an ability to produce results within given time frames.  

Package
The package will reward these skills. It comprises a generous base salary plus super and a bonus plan based on several KPI’s paid quarterly. A Toyota Hilux, mobile phone and laptop are provided. The OTE range is $135-155,000 and will be dependent on experience and capability.
