Our client is a listed property group with income streams based in construction, property development, funds management and facilities management. The group has over 2500 employees spread across their four international locations of Australia, UK, New Zealand and the Middle East.
They are urgently seeking a Senior Contract Administrator or Senior Quantity Surveyor to perform an international auditor / risk management role on all their projects in Australia, UAE, NZ & the UK. The position will entail travelling to all the sites around the globe to audit them and determine:
- financial status of the project with forecasted final costs etc
- any large outstanding or looming critical variations
- status of packages let and comparisons against original and un-committed budgets
- any major risk items that could financial damage the project
- the stability of the commercial team on site
An ability to report to executives is very important for this high profile position as well as:
- at least 5 years experience in a Senior CA or QS role (post contract preferred)
- excellent communication skills at all levels
- an affinity for international travel
- an ability to see the big picture with sound business acumen skills
After two years in this role the company would be prepared to look for a more settled position within the Australian offices should this be desired by the candidate.
