Our client is a highly reputable IT Services organization and is seeking an Enterprise Architect with extensive experience delivering Data Centre projects end to end for large complex Enterprise Infrastructure environments.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Tertiary Degree qualified with a Bachelor of IT and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5-10 years experience working in either an Enterprise Architect or Data Centre Architect or Infrastructure Architect position with proven experience leading a successful Data Centre project end to end ideally having worked for a Medium to Large Consulting company onsite for a Financial or Banking client will be HIGHLY REGARDED!
• Experience with 'system of systems' architecture development, partitioning of functionality among applications and components and application interfaces/interoperability concerns.
• Awareness of systems management (like; network management or configuration management) and operational support tools
• Should have defined enterprise architecture for an Enterprise or a Business Unit using an EA Tool
• Should have experience in defining architecture policies and procedures
• Should have extensive experience in deriving strategic architecture roadmaps/landscape through rationalisation or systematic assessment of IT portfolio including development of business case for them
• Should have the required technology exposure required for architecting solution

 
Domain/Technical/Functional Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure Assessment and Data Centre Design
• Knowledge and experience in Infrastructure sizing, assessment and Data Centre management
• Knowledge of one or more common architecture frameworks (e.g. Zachman, TOGAF, DoDAF, MODAF, FEAF).
• Knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of at least one of the commonly-used methods, notations and tools (e.g. MooD, Rational Suite, METIS, Artisan, ISSE, System Architect, UML, RUP).
• Should be able to serve as a subject matter expert for architectural frameworks, methods and tools. Act as coach to advice and assist consultants, analysts, technical specialists and architects in any architecture disciplines. Ensure the defined Architecture is implemented and adopted in totality
• Knowledge of Banking/Financial Services Domain and Applications
• Well versed with IT governance and Standards, e.g. COBIT.
