This publicly listed business with a huge scope of service offerings. Still working a federated model the business has been successful in achieving substantial growth year in year out and now employs over 3000 people across Australia. They work in construction, IT, professional services and technical solutions and encourage both entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.
The position
We are currently looking to fill a unique position within this business, a role that will possible form an entire division. This person will be responsible for shaping the companies strategy for the upcoming NBN project, they will form alliances, position the business, lobby the government and win business. Once that is done this role will turn into an overall GM position, running a P&L for the company solely devoted to NBN. Once NBN has finished this business unit will be dedicated to going after the next big project.
Successful Candidate will be Rewarded with:

Experience Required
To be suitable for this role you will need to be an experienced executive within the telecommunications space, having been exposed to large infrastructure builds. You will need to be well connected in the government arena or at the very least know who the right people are. You are strategic, consultative and above all looking for the next challenge.
