This leading tier one contractor with a history of delivering iconic construction projects is looking to bolster the ranks / be pro-active and look for an established Senior CA or Contracts Manager who can compliment the team and work on complex projects between $40m to $130m.
Key responsibilities would involve:
Assisting in tender preparation
Tender evaluation
Cost control and budgeting
Sub-contractor negotiation and selection
Processing and monitoring of claims and payments
Producing variations and conducting cost reporting
Managing client relationships and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders
Key requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in construction or engineering with 3-6 years in the building and construction industry
Qualifications in quantity surveying and contracts management
Commercial experience is a must
Demonstrated contractual and commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written and computer proficient are also vital
Strong administration and organisational skills
With either a Construction Management and/or Quantity Surveying degree and with several years of commercial experience under your belt - there will be a myriad of opportunity within their expanding NSW business to propel your career forward within a number of successful business units.
