One of the few truly global Australian companies, Orica has market leading operations in over 50 countries. The business has enjoyed significant growth over the past four years and an opportunity now exists for a driven treasury professional to join the Melbourne based Global Treasury team.
Reporting to the Deputy Treasurer and managing a small team, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of all global treasury transactions. This will include funding, FX management and interest rate management. A key focus of the role will be the provision of advice regarding the accounting implications of international economic hedging strategies.
CA/CPA qualified, you will have a proven background in treasury accounting roles and should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the relevant accounting standards. Strong analytical and problem solving skills will be essential. Excellent communication and relationship building skills will also be required.
