Account Manager - Building Automation Technology
  • New opportunity for Account Manager to drive and develop key accounts
  • Utilise your expertise in Building Automation or Industrial Automation
  • Circa $150k to $200k OTE

As a leading and global organisation for innovative building technology solutions both in the application of technology and business solutions, their systems reduce the impact on the environment of utilities within modern building developments.

As they continue to take significant market share in technology driven solutions, together with a growing and enviable list of customers, they now require an account manager to focus on the NSW market. 

As an individual you will have the opportunity to manage, drive and nurture a portfolio of key accounts dealing with customers at an operational level.  Here is your chance to drive the ongoing account development and advance important opportunities through partnering with key decision makers.

Their corporate vision is currently propelling a surge into strategic markets like Healthcare and Utilities with proven technology solutions, so there is an opportunity for cross-sector account management in the future.

Your understanding of how buildings run efficiently will be from your involvement in any of the following;
Automation of Intelligent Buildings / Industrial Automation /  BMS, Fire Systems, Security / CCTV, Access Control / Advanced ID / Biometric systems, Electrical Services, Emergency / Standby Power, HVAC / Lifts, Process Control, and factory automation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage, nurture and drive forward a portfolio of accounts
  • Act as the interface between the customer and internal staff within the company including Sales and Service
  • Drive forward account development - strategic patnerships etc
  • Be involved in strategic tasks such as acquisition of complex / customer specific solutions
  • Support the customer's interests as well and build long term committment / business relationships

Skills, Knowledge and abilities:

  • Proven experience in account management or senior sales within Building Automation or Industrial Automation
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Knowledge of Business management - operations, contracts - and understanding of Business processes
  • Tertiary qualifications would be an advantage
