As a global leader in their category Toys R Us are developing a new e-Commerce platform globally and will lead the way in technology and execution.
Reporting to the Managing Director and working in conjunction with the global Toys R Us e-Commerce team you will lead a local dedicated team to manage the set up, execution, implementation and on going management of the global platform into the Australian market.
As the General Manager - e-Commerce you will work across all business and functions including Marketing, Merchandise, Supply Chain and Operations. You will be involved in pricing, range planning, fulfillment and marketing of the e - Commerce site. Executing the strategy and taking ownership for the results ongoing will be as critical as the initial development and set up of the site. You will be a strong leader and have proven experience in building and implementing an e-Commerce platform.
The successful applicant will have:

7 - 10 years combined retail and e-Commerce experience

Previous experience in overseeing and directing all areas of e-Commerce selling and fulfillment, marketing and web experience

Ability to generate new and creative solutions and processes

Strong relationship building and influencing skills
