Our global software client is urgently seeking a Senior Project Manager (SPM) to join their Sydney based team. As the SPM you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of their services. It is mandatory that you have had experience within the Cloud & Virtualization space. You will be responsible for managing all resources, resolving all service execution issues, managing scope control and cost commitments, risks, meeting deliverables execution and time lines, and keeping the Key Stakeholders informed of customer issues related to the service.

Essential Experience Required: 

• 10+ years background in Project Management (with exposure to presales, consulting and/or architecture (preferably with a software or virtualization house)
• SDLC and Systems Integration understanding
• Virtualization and Cloud background

• Strong experience with virtualization (VMWARE) and cloud deployment, Bladelogic and Atrium orchestrator experience a nice to have or similar products from HP, IBM or CA
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• End-to-end management of service delivery
• Foundations Certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
• Broad understanding of Service Management best practices
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
• Experience with Bid Proposals
• Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally
• Government Security Clearances would be highly desirable
