A rare opportunity has become available for a senior HR Manager to join an undisputed market leader and iconic consumer brand. This leading logistics and distribution company supplies to consumers in Australia and New Zealand. As the AGM you will report to the General Manager
People and Corporate Services and the role will span two business entities of the company in Australia and New Zealand covering eight facilities.

You will manage People and Corporate Services on a national basis.
You must build a strong foundation of HR processes, polices and procedures that are effective and efficient. You will be accountable for providing the workforce the business needs to meet its objectives and you will deliver development processes that ensure continual people development and sustainability.

Your previous experience will prove that you can develop the capability within people to contribute to a team based culture that achieves the performance objectives of the company.

Operationally you will oversee and manage OH&S, payroll, internal communications, facilitate induction programs, ensure the implementation of the correct on-boarding process, conduct annual performance reviews and develop local HR strategies.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Provision of a responsive and sensitive HR function
- Recruitment, development and retention of a quality workforce
- Creation of programs that focus on performance, effective teamwork and structured leadership

Essentials

- Commercial experience in medium to large for profit organisation
- Extensive management experience within the field of Human Resources
- Industrial Relations experience
- Change management experience
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of ER and IR

Your HR Generalist skills and Industrial Relations experience combined with commercial awareness will be a successful combination for this role.
