Reporting to the Director of NSW, you will lead the HR function for his region (1,500 employees) and you will work with senior business leaders and line managers to build organisational capability whilst driving national HR initiatives that contribute to improved business efficiency and performance. With a strong focus on coaching managers to raise their people leadership capability, you will provide guidance and specialist advice in regards to employee relations, performance management, attraction initiatives and people development.
This role will appeal to an experienced HR Manager with a pragmatic, business minded and results driven approach. Highly developed influencing skills and a team approach will ensure your success. It is essential that you bring the following technical skills:
• IR/ER experience gained within unionised, operational environments
• Experience in major change management projects and cultural change
• Sound knowledge of current employment practices
• Broad generalist HR skills developed in a leadership role
• Track record in coaching and developing line managers
