RFS Level 14, Homebush Bay, Permanent Full-Time
Manage the Region through effective planning, organising, leadership support, mentoring and monitoring of allocated Districts, Teams and Zones and of major Regional issues to ensure compliance with RFS Government and statutory obligations and ensuring that DTZ are appropriately resourced to meet operational and volunteer requirements.
Remuneration Package to: $152,593. Package includes salary ($129,922-$139,994), employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Selection Criteria: - Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Business Management field and or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strategic planning, business planning, budgeting and accounting and human resource management.
- Planning and problem solving, leadership and management of staff, resource management co-ordination and allocation expertise in a politically sensitive environment.
- Interpersonal communication and the maintenance and development of effective relationships with stakeholders and staff.
- Project management and report writing.
- A thorough understanding of resource management for an emergency management organisation.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Rural Fires Act and other relevant legislation and understanding of State Government and related Local Government systems and processes.
- Understanding of and commitment to working in a volunteer environment. A current driver's licence.
