Business Development Manager Defence - Naval & Maritime Acoustics
$130,000 - $150,000 + Car + Bonus + Super + Benefits
Our client have forged long term mutually beneficial relationships with the Defence industry and specialist federal agencies and organizations, providing state of the art acoustic technological engineering solutions and unique unrivalled technical services, to ensure protection of both people and information. A genuine autonomous business development opportunity has arisen where you will be responsible for maximising established markets and projects whilst also creating the needs and requirements of available products and systems into untapped and under developed markets. With a support team in place your ability and confidence in delivering solutions to your clients will never be in question.
You will lead from the front providing technical input and business development direction to the team focussing on commercial or government products or services in close coordination with counterparts in government, commercial and federal organisations. This varied role requires someone adept at shaping the tactical and strategic plans for the company, dealing with the Defence industry, DMO, dealing with Project Directors and Managers securing large deals and contracts for bespoke products and systems for new and innovative technologies. With a focus on Australia and NZ there will be an element of Interstate and some international travel.
Rewards and prospects will follow, as the role will progress into a leadership or regional opportunity driving and establishing this side of the business, inspiring and displaying the business development and commercial direction of the company.
The Person
To be considered for this opportunity you will demonstrate current business relationships within the Defence, Critical Infrastructure, DMO, ADF or Primes market and have a relevant clearance or be eligable. It's obvious that traction and a track record has already been established with a platform to take this role and company to the next level in its development, whilst pioneering new applications, markets and technologies.
