This private equity backed global organisation, headquartered in Sydney operates within a robust and essential business sector. This role will work very closely with the Managing Director of this newly formed division to drive the business forward, building on a strong organic growth plan alongside M&A activity.
You will be tasked with the implementation of a robust, effective financial infrastructure encompassing systems, processes, risk and controls. Creation of financial strategy,
policy as well as operational responsibility across acquired businesses and ensuring smooth integration of systems, people and cultures is critical in this ‘top-to-bottom’ role. Additionally you are impacting business strategy and helping identify growth opportunities.
You have the passion and drive to deliver ‘hands-on’ value as well as partnering with the M.D at the strategic level. Your strong technical background (CA, CPA) is matched by your
attention to detail and desire to ‘get things done’ but also the capacity to impact the bottom line. Experience in fast growth, lean running businesses is preferred and your ability to scale
up as the business grows is essential.
