You will join a successful multinational and ASX listed organisation. They have defied all odds over the past twelve months since the global financial crisis. This business has a healthy balance sheet moving into the New Year. With the speculation of more acquisitions on the horizon this green field position has been created. This opportunity will be for someone who can work autonomously combined with engaging the finance team to reach key organisational goals and targets.
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the operational risk, compliance, treasury and insurance policies on behalf of the business. You will also ensure key stakeholder relationships are maintained and nurtured across the business at an international level. Your ability to illustrate your understanding of acquisitions from a risk and compliance perspective will be the measure of your success. You will be accountable for communicating the compliance and risk changes that this business faces in this current economic climate.
CPA/CA qualified, you will demonstrate a sound knowledge of SOX, internal and external audit requirements and the ability to manage the risk and insurance with in the business. Treasury experience is desirable however not required. This is an opportunity for someone who is currently in a commercial organisation or someone who is looking to make the move from a chartered environment.
