As a key applications expert on the Technical and Sales teams you will be responsible for establishing best practices for deploying line of business and custom applications built on top of the platform. Your knowledge of the software allows you to articulate the complex interactions of the product to internal  technical/sales resources and customers. You will provide subject matter expertise on best practices for the design, development, and deployment of applications on the platform. In this capacity, you will provide guidance on deployment, disaster recovery, and scalability. You will assist in the requirements, data gathering, scoping, and development of tools to be used by key customers that will extend the value of their deployments.
 
Responsibilities will include:
 
1. Maintaining a close technical relationship between business unit teams and sales, professional services, and product management groups.
 
2. Interact with customers on deployment and architecture, and application development.
 
3. Collaborate with other subject matter experts to capture complex deployment plans and develop a variety of best practices.
 
4. Developing Software Tools and processes to be used internally by the carrier team as well as externally by customers.
 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• The role requires technical aptitude and business acumen with a consultative approach to find creative solutions to real customer problems
• Candidates must also possess technical leadership capabilities coupled with project management experience
• 2+ years experience Mobile Devices with experience on the J2ME and .Net platforms
• 5+ years experience with at least one of the following RDMBS's: Oracle, DB/2, SQL Server
• 5+ years experience in multi-tier application development utilizing one or both of the .Net framework or J2EE
