Do you have a strong background in network security? Are you looking for a challenging role in a large enterprise environment? Do you have solid experience in security project management? Working alongside key stakeholders, senior project managers, and various technical leads, this Senior Network Security role is responsible for the management of security services globally. Managing the network security, application security, and firewall infrastructure, you will be responsible for ensuring 24 x 7 uptime, and be responsible for high level IT security projects.
To secure this role, you should have a strong background in network security including (but not limited to):
- Network design and troubleshooting - routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper etc);
- Firewall design and administration - eg. Checkpoint, Nokia etc;
- Windows / Unix security;
- Proxy servers and load balancing; and
- Project Management.
In addition to this, vendor certifications (eg. CCSA, CCSE, CCNP, CCDA, JNCIA) would be highly sought after.
Please note that this role does manage security globally, and as such some out of hours work will be necessary.
