2IC Electrical Discipline Lead

As a key part of our client's long term business strategy and succession planning a vacancy has been identified for a 2IC to the Electrical Discipline Lead.  Working closely with the incumbent Lead Electrical Engineer you will be learning the ropes prior to their retirement from the business. You will be introduced to all major business connections and stakeholders and given ample time to establish yourself before taking over the reins.

You will be working hands-on in technical design and design management, and will have the opportunity to expand the division in to other areas maximising the growth potential of this professional services team. Strong technical expertise is essential in this role as is a strong level of comfort in client management and development.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor Electrical  Engineering
  • Minimum 5-7  years experience in electrical design solutions within Australia; strong ESD knowledge and RPEQ (or eligibility for) essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience or readiness to mentor a team
