Our client is a leader in the Queensland housing industry. With over 25 years presence in the market, they have are renowned for quality and timely developments. The opportunity has arisen for a driven Finance Manager to lead their accounting and finance team in Brisbane.
Working closely with the CEO, the focus of this pivotal role will be to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business whilst driving a team of five. Initially, the critical objectives will be managing cashflow, maintaining existing relationships with financial institutions and funding for upcoming joint venture projects. As you progress in this hands-on and broad role you will be responsible for all month end requirements including all tax and statutory reporting and complex accounting issues for multiple entities. In addition you will be managing high level accounting functions including board reports, consolidations, half year and year end audits and strategic analysis of potential developments and investments.
To be successful in this role you will possess a strong background in the property sector. You will thrive on being involved with strategy, planning and steering the direction of a medium size business. This role will suit a dedicated accountant who enjoys rolling up the sleeves with a hands on approach to management.
