Our client is a leading Fund Manager, and due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced fund accounting manager to join their management team.
As the Manager of the Fund Accounting team, your duties and responsibilities of the role will be varied but will include: Project work to establish new trust structures across all asset classes within the fund, overall management of team activity and performance, in particular ensuring timely delivery of half year and year end process including trust distributions, statutory accounts, and tax returns. Ensuring proper internal controls are identified and maintained as well as ensuring internal and external procedures meet audit requirements. Other duties will include implementing any Fund Accounting changes in legislation, as well as assisting with process enhancements to operational functions within the group.
The ideal candidate will be CA or CPA qualified with comprehensive accounting experience obtained either from a Funds Management or Custody background. Applicants from a chartered background who have worked with financial services clients (business services or audit) will also be considered. A proven track record in leading teams is paramount coupled with exemplary communication skills.
