EBR is currently seeking an individual with thorough experience and knowledge required to undertake the position of General Manager at an environmental consultancy.  You will assist clients in areas such as; environmental licensing and approvals, environmental management systems development and environmental training and auditing.  Your responsibilities will also include:

• Managing all aspects/functions of the business - including: lead business and team strategy; financial management; lead recruitment; lead business developments and marketing; oversee and review corporate governance.
• Leading management team

• Provide high level advice to all staff and clients

• Managing client projects - manage teams and subcontracts on client projects; interact with Government officials on behalf of clients

Requirements:

• Knowledge of EMS and GHG
• Relevant qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, Law or similar
• 15 – 20 years extensive involvement in some or all of the following sectors: exploration/mining, resources, oil and gas, pipelines and energy
• Detailed knowledge of Impact Assessment
• Detailed knowledge of State and Federal environmental approvals processes and effect and ability to manage the process
• Extensive knowledge on all aspects of environmental management and practice
• Excellent communication skills - in particular public speaking skills
• Proven technical expertise
